Orange Daylily, Tawny Daylily, Ditch Lily (Hemerocallis fulva)

Some people can’t stand this daylily, but I like it. It’s pretty, and it reminds me of time spent at my grandmothers way back when. Nanny had them growing all over her backyard. My mom got a start of this plant back in the 60’s, and here it is still thriving today.

Very hardy and prolific. Fragrant. Dormant. Great for naturalizing.
