Cast iron has been my go-to cookware for many years, and if I had to pick one type of pan to have in my kitchen, it would be a couple of cast iron skillets, grill pan, and dutch oven.
I purchased the square, 10.5 inch grill pan from FS Kitchen, and I’m extremely overjoyed with how well it cooks food. This one arrived pre-seasoned and ready to use. It’s easy to clean and store with my other pots and pans. The grill pan is durable, and pretty much indestructible.
This grill pan is great for multiple uses like: stove-top, grill, oven, or campfire. Terrific for searing meats and the ribbed shape allows fats to drain away from the food. Also, the ribbed shape adds grill marks to foods like polish and smoked sausage.
These types of pans are cheap in price considering they will literally last a lifetime. I have one cast iron skillet that belonged to my grandmother, and it looks and cooks great. There’s not a single piece of kitchen equipment I could recommend more.
